Mack's interest in this style of light projection began with a fascination for exploitation films of the 1960s such as Riot on Sunset Strip, Love-Ins, and The Trip. These sorts of movies would capitalize on current events and taboos. Intrigued and inspired by their psychedelic visuals, Mack began exploring a technique that developed during this time called "liquid light projections."

Layering colored water and oil on an overhead projector, Mack manipulates the liquids to create her own psychedelic light shows.

Having displayed her projections in local venues around St. Louis, Mack plans on continuing this practice in collaborative endeavors.
